After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Law, he completed LLM, International Competition Law & Policy from University of East Anglia, UK.
He worked in Turkish Competition Authority as Competition Expert. He also took a role in team for the preparation of the Regulation on Fines and Leniency Regulation, the Communiqué No: 2008/2 (Block Exemption Communiqué on Technology Transfer Agreements) and the Guidelines of this Communiqué, the Guidelines on Certain Subcontracting Agreements between Non-competitors, the Block Exemption Communiqué 2005/4 (Block Exemption Communiqué on Vertical Agreements and Concerted Practices in the Motor Vehicles Sector) and the Explanatory Brochure of this Communiqué.
