Focused on civil litigation and restructuring and insolvency areas, Maria Fabiana operates especially in dispute resolution, debt restructuring, negotiation and recovery of assets, in both judicial and extrajudicial recoveries. She also works with bankruptcy proceedings, having actively participated in some of the most important insolvency cases in Brazil, in addition to acting as Judicial Administrator. Maria Fabiana is especially familiar with the sugarcane mills sector.
Furthermore, she serves as Assistant Professor of Commercial Law at Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC-SP) with Dr. Marcelo Sacramone, and at the School of Law of the Universidade de São Paulo (FADUSP) with Dr. Francisco Satiro, and is the author of the book “Os Limites do Plano de Recuperação Judicial” (The Limits of the Restructuring Plan), published in 2019.
