About Christian Weil
Attorney Weil is a specialist lawyer for commercial legal protection. He represents clients in the field of commercial legal protection, in particular in the fields of trademark law, competition law, design law, patent law, utility model law, copyright law, media law, Internet law, domain law, injunctive relief, title protection law, employee invention law and in the areas of product imitations. He gives lectures as a lecturer, e.g. at the Cologne Lawyers’ Association, business associations, Chambers of Industry and Commerce and other institutes, he is also a member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Cologne Lawyers’ Association. There are memberships in the GRUR and in the VPP. Mr. Weil is co-author of the Kirschbaum business start-up manual, published by Stollfuss-Verlag, and edits the chapter on intellectual property rights there. Mr. Weil is a member of the Cologne-Bonn Marketing Club and a member of the board of directors of the North Rhine regional group of the ASU Die Familienunternehmer association as a press officer. Attorney Weil is also the author of the work “Warning notices on the Internet” published by Deubner Verlag on the field of design law / design law. He is also a member of the board of the Cologne Bar Association.
The clientele includes medium-sized companies, large corporations and start-ups from all over Germany.
After studying law i.a. in Würzburg, France and Munich, he passed his 2nd state examination in Lower Saxony. He then worked for a Hamburg law firm for two years. Since 1999 he has been working independently with the above main areas of activity in Cologne.
